Just when I think I've seen it all, something comes along and surprises me.

But, then again, this could be an arranged deal. I have seen it happen with rare cars on several occasions.

That 2million dollar Hemi Cuda a at Barrett Jackson few years back was all about two guys jacking up the value of the cars they owned.

It wouldn't surprise me to find out this cast iron sale was staged. If you want to get rich these days, you better not let something trivial like ethics get in the way.

Was just getting a lot of curiosity up for these when I finally realized that it probably won't happen in my lifetime.....(ha) :

That's not an Indian Head on the bottom but the prized Spider logo "Erie" Musta been a bidding war for that one cause someone paid $1900 too much for it :shock:

I've got a 10" skillet with a spider on it! I should probably just go ahead and clean out the cupboards...now that I look at them...they all got spiders! Doug
