Slow you need several old license plates held together by wire rings like key rings. Work great as a free wind screen

here ya go Slow.........

http://www.olderascal.com/?page_id=33

Or you could get 3 tiny vice grip pliers or a few very small "C" clamps and fasten a single sheet on the edge of the satelite dish and you are good to go.

Here's what we do for wind in North Idaho:

I just added another license plate to my wind shield last night, so I can use it with both my 12" and 14" DOs. I use big key rings to hook them together. The one in the picture was done with electric fence wire.

License plates work great for a wind break. I used steel cable to hold mine together.

I've used a piece of cardboard covered in tinfoil on several occasions. The licence plates are a great idea, especially if you can get one from every state you camp in.

I have a couple of small DOs (6-in and 8-in), so this works with a Smoky Joe Weber Kettle. I just put some sand in the bottom of the kettle, to spread the heat from the coals so they won't burn through the metal, then use my chimney starter to start the coals (setting it in the Weber while the coals are getting hot). When the coals are hot, I put a third of them in the bottom of the Weber, put my DO in over then, and the rest of the coals on top. So my kettle is both a DO stand to get it up where I can work, and a wind break.

I am, of course, using what I have. Use a grill that you have. I think a broader, shallower grill would work well for a larger DO.
