If you want to use your little drip top oven as a camp oven just add some artificial legs and a length of chain to keep the coals on top.

Good evening to all,
And thanks again to all of you for the info and tips, your restoration work is great and I`m learning from the posts.
Had a hi of 38 today ,but worked on the new find out in the back yard .
Built a fire and cooked the majority of the bad stuff off, scraped and hit it with a wire brush a little........
now to wash and season it?
Will have to wait til next week when it warms up enough to open some windows if I have to.
Thanks again to all
Cecil

These stories make me anxious for the warm weather when yard sales start up again.

Why wait till spring ? I have found a lot of nice pieces at these mom and pop indoor flea markets at give away prices.

If you are looking for a special piece shopgoodwill.com has some nice old stuff at good prices but shipping does add up.

Thanks Bob. Have seen that site before and forgot about it. Will take a gander at it again.
Back here, no one seems to have yard or garage sales in this cold weather. And I do not have any enclosed flea markets around. But now that you mention it, I will keep an eye out for them as I travel around.
