Stacking Dutch owns question?

So principal to bake in the Dutch oven is 4 coals on bottom 14 on top principal.....ohkay......what about stacking dos?......your top Dutch oven's bottom rest on the lid of the one below and 14 coals not 4....how do you prevent burned food on the bottom of the top Dutch oven in a stack????? How do these guys stacking dos make it work?????

First, the DO above provides some of the heat for the top of DO below. Second, low heat under items - like bread - go at the bottom, and moisture items above. It looks cool, saves fuel and space, but rotating is a PITA.
