:FNP Thank you! I shall pace myself when eating them (and keep the box away from the groom until I get first bites.!) Kirk, remind me to tell you the story behind this remark at campfire.

Just came home from a FANTASTIC bridal shower. Lots of good friends, food & presents! I am truly blessed! So if it is seven days to go, that gives me about a week to have everything in place and ready for the nuptials. :dancing :wacky :lips:
See you folks soon.

Hi Campmaster,

I have a couple old Coleman lanterns of my dads that haven't been used in 20 years. A 220D and 228F. They look pretty good but looks like the gasket or whatever on the fuel filler cap may be bad. I don't know much about working on them and would like to bring them to the Dam Gathering and try and get them working and I see you mentioned you may be able to look at some lanterns and help get them working. Should I bring them and maybe somebody can help me with them?

I've only used a propane lantern, which I'm bringing, so I'm not sure if they are good to light and I'm a little leery of trying to light them myself for the first time, but I'd like to see if they will work.

Looking forward to the gathering! Looks like great weather.

Oh come on, it sounds like just a cap gasket. You are the master and you do it for the challenge and the glory. Your reward is the pyrotechnic display and the adoration of the adoring fans. Raaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh :D :R

But truly, just the simple fact that you enjoy Coleman SOOOO much, and give back to others in the furtherance of your hobby is a treat and so entertaining for others to see and enjoy. All I was trying do was encourage you and show support for that. No pressure. You are, after all, "the master".

You're the man!

Hi Kirk:

Thanks a bunch! I've got them packed. They look pretty good so hopefully it will be easy to get them running. There should be some old pics in my album on page 6 or so. I don't need them all sparkly and shiny, at least not yet. Plus as Yoda says, I will be an adoring fan if you get them to work! :)

See's Candy! That's a tough choice then between getting the lanterns fixed and getting chocolate! If you get them fixed I should be bringing you chocolate or cookies.

I had a tremendous time at the Dam Gathering however I have learned a few things. I am not going to bring a mountain of stuff anymore. In fact if it does not fit in the tear its probably not going to the campground. I am going light from now on. I dont need three ice chests. I dont need three chairs. I dont need three tables. I dont need three sleeping bags. I dont need three dutch ovens. I dont need three of anything since it seems I am mostly camping by myself!

I dont need three or four or five flashlights. I dont need food for any army. I am going to change.
