Bicycle modifications.

Postby Wimperdink » Wed Jan 23, 2013 11:39 pm

A year or more ago, someone showed some pics of some bicycles that they had modified in various ways. I can't for the life of me, find them again. I'm wondering if the posts got lost in the transfer to the new forum. Can anyone find them again, or if it was you that posted them, mind showing them again. I need some inspiration for a new project. :-) thanks

Some hints might be nice.. from my memory I would say most of the bikes shown here are not stock... although some are more obviously modified than others..

They were of the cut and weld variety. Some were stretched and lowered etc. Rob from one and add to another. Some old school stuff Frankensteined.

There we go that helps, I kept searching Google for bike mods or bicycle modifications and the like..... new search terms help.... would never have thought of "rat rod bikes". Lots of these bikes are the same style as the cruisers I have that are begging for some changes. I appreciate your help. :-)

RRB is a great forum just like the T&TTT board. I have been hanging out there the last couple of years.
My wife and I started off with one walmart bicycle each. A year and a half later we now own 20 bicycles,
different kinds and brands. We started out just riding after work around our home a couple miles a day.
This past fall we went on our longest ride to date 20 miles, on single speed bicycles. Here in western pa.
there are several Rails to Trails to ride on within 50 miles of us. Camping and riding bicycles doesn't get
much better than that. Kermit
