tee shirt

Postby Eunice » Fri Jun 01, 2007 8:11 pm

hot pink is good. Who can draw? I really think it would be fun to get this going and we can all get a tee shirt. it would be so fun to go to a gathering and see how pink hot pink tees there are!
Anyone know anything about manufactoring and such? Mike should be able to help since T&TTT has several tees.

Have you checked out the T&TT section of CafePress? Get a logo and you can have all the tee's you want.
I had some made for a lady friend of mine but I dast not post it here. It had to do with a sleezy Trailer Tramp novel of the 50's and not what you would like to present so you will have to google it. Just send a logo, jpeg or pix and they can put it on anything.

Is this for all Lady Tear Droppers or just the loners? I didn't build mine but we are going to pick up our 3rd one, this is all done in 2 months time. Our son has #1, then we bought a used one because we didn't know when we would get the one we ordered, and now we are going to pick up the new one on the way to Minden. Can I be a Lady Tear Dropper?

I have some pics of the two TD's on my album and I will get some of the new one as soon as we get back. I was waiting to get the new one to decide on an avitar so guess I will have to get busy.

Thanks for the comeback!

well now that i've read EVERYTHING!!! i can comiserate with the problems...

I was ok with gluing until i got to my bulkheads... i glued them all in at an angle... with gorilla glue... you cant break that stuff, you have to saw it apart... that was a big foopah....

with the paint? my red paint is something wierd that reacts with everyother paint on the planet (my spots are stickers)... but i painted the frame after my body, which wasn't the smartest thing ever.... the entire frame bubled and i had to sand it off... i painted it again... it bubbled again... i had to take it all they way down to the harborfrieght base coat before the black would stop reacting with my red-dribbles...

It gets better and easier... believe me... i did it... and now i'm at the fixing stage... i think i finally fixed the leak in my galley... Maybe....

and t-shirts... awesome... i cant draw worth a darn tho... lol... and i wanna go to minden!!! but i have to work and go to school  pooh....

peeling paint

Postby Eunice » Sun Jun 03, 2007 8:25 pm

Thanks Lydia it makes me feel better to hear other stories about the paint lifting. I am re-sanding tomorrow. The weather here has been damp and I havent gone outside. Next year we can go to Minden. That gives a year to plan for it!

Lydia your tear still looks so "cute". I cleaned off the rust on my frame 3 times and won't speak if the varnish runs. :?

I hate to be the one to say it but Minden is every other year. :(
