Well, (very) possible success.... Met Maggie last night.

We were at a restaurant and after talking for a while, I asked her to show me her hand..... she extended it and asked why? I took it and said, it tells me a lot about how 'open' and trusting a person is..... after I explained it, she asked if she passed the test, I said yes.

I've gone out with some who look at me funny and refuse or are very hesitant... Those invariably turn out to not really the type of person I want to be with.... It might seem like a strange thing to do, but it does seem to tell me if the person is comfortable being with me, and other things I can't really explain logically. I will add, that if the situation were reversed, I would not hesitate to do the same.

So, we ate dinner, and we went back to her place, watched some tv, and then I returned home.... we decided we should see each other again... all in all, it was a very nice, and comfortable, first date. She came across as very down to earth, family oriented, and willing to try new things... not sure about the t/d camping thing, though... didn't want to push my luck.. :}

oh, another thing, she laughed at my jokes.. not sure if that is good or bad... hmm

Just letting you know, from a woman's perspective,

I agree with Mariam on this. It should be one of the first things you mention on your list of "Here's the things you need to know about Arne"

Because it is SO important to you...And I get that! All us teardropping women get that!!!

Thank you... and so far, so good... I've not needed to be ornery with her... I'm actually treating her quite nicely... almost like she is special.. :}

Brings back to mind something I heard once long ago. If you want to be nice, hang around with nice people... if you want to be depressed, hang around with depressed people....

She is a nice person.. almost like I don't deserve her.. but, don't tell her that. I do feel we react to the people we are with... in many ways.
