I just stood up, dropped to half-moon, and I can see how now. A long tshirt will cover everything.

Last night I told hubby about the GG and that I ordered one.

His reaction was priceless! I could tell he wanted to laugh his butt off but wasn't sure if it would get him in trouble. He was trying so hard to keep a straight face!!!

 :laughter:  :rofl2:

I think I'll stick to my current strategy, which works well--no beverages after 6 p.m. (at the risk of soundind like a party pooper)! :)

  8) So let's not go there---

It was a long paddle to a place to get off the canoe (read that as steep side walls) and the GG would sure have come in handy. :D

Seems like you would have needed additional attachments for the GG, to make THAT work!! ;)

(Very funny on the party pooper reference! You're right--that kind of a discussion would be mind boggling--and something the GG could not help with!) :o

Yep, acrobatics in a canoe could prove disastrous! Just trying to visualize the whole thing!! 8)

  My daughter doesn't have a lot of experience with a canoe. She got the back cause I wasn't sure how stable she might be.

Now she is ready to go again. The GG's will be in and we will be cool. Just not sure how she will feel about being on her knees and rockin........

If they work as good as the disposable ones it will be great. Maybe some baggy sweats? And a bottle and a hose........... I will need a warm day to test it so speak to the weather woman. ;)

If you try a hose, remember to point it down and don't kink it - see my previous post regarding the "Freshette" in the canoe in the Okee.

I bought the GG too. It is very easy to use...but, like Becca said, standing up it was a little hard to "start".

I think I would feel really wierd using it in a public bathroom tho, because my feet would face the wrong way and I don't know what kind of looks I might get when I came out of the stall.

 I think you might have two options:

1) Straddle the potty looking forward, standing over it with one foot on each side (if there's room).

2) Come out of the stall, proudly displaying the GoGirl, singing its praises to spread the word! If GoGirl catches on, you won't have to do that anymore and people will no longer question your 'position'.

I hadn't thought about that either. But now that I thought about it for a few minutes I decided I don't care. When I was younger that would have embarrassed me but the older I get the less I care about what strangers think.
By the time I'm a senior citizen I'll be peeing in my bottle in aisle 9  You ever notice how really old people can get away with anything????? NOTHING embarrasses them and nobody questions them. The good life...
