I have a bottle right now! Tasted it at the Dam gathering. It was very popular and very good! :: :wine:

I don't have time to reply to so many of your great comments, ideas, pictures (love the silverware, holder and built-in holder) but did want to say that all of you ladies ROCK! One thing about the wooden tray, I too have a nice looking tray and although it's not wood, it's still a favored piece. I store mine right on the bed when traveling and under it until I need to use it. I use it every night that I camp...love it!

My son and daughter n law love to camp also. They just inherited a cab-over truck camper until they get their dream vintage camper. I'm making them a gift - a bag holder. I had several pairs of jeans that I don't wear anymore so I cut the legs off and the back pockets. I will use the legs to make a hanging bag holder. It can hold trash bags or plastic grocery bags. Once I get it done I'll post a pic. I think I will use all the pockets as "pockets" for a bathroom hanging storage thingy. Jamie, daughter n law, keeps mentioning how much she loves mine so before mine disappears I better get sewing.

Love this thread! :)

sorry to just drop in but I just saw a bag that holds toilet paper made from blue jeans, I didn't have my camera. It is like a bag holder in the Bathroom. It was so cool.

Happy birthday Becky!!!!

when ya'll say vintage does the owner count? I put my thinking cap on and will go thru my stuff and probably find some vintage stuff too. I am so looking forward to really Glamping but I am afraid that will have to wait till next year. This year will be pretty basic. un decorated.

Becky, i have posted pics of our galley, cabin and accessories many times, so figured no need to suck up band width again! Your pics, however, of all your new accessories are needed immediately!

Happy Birthday Becky!

The upcycled jean bags sound really cute! I made a denim ground cloth for Kitai to sit on when we're camped somewhere dusty or dirty. It's weighted on the corners to stop the wind from blowing it around. Right now it's stored in a plastic bag. A storage bag made out of old jeans with the legs cut open and sewn together would be perfect! I could even use the belt loops to cinch it shut with a belt.

I'm definitely down with trying the ChocoVine. Will research where it's available in my local area.

Unrelated but funny.....

For all you gals go through we guys salute you...............

Gotta love it!!

Hanging by my boob...

While conducting some business at the Courthouse, I overheard a lady, who had been arrested for assaulting a Mammogram Technician, say, "Your Honor, I'm guilty but.....there were extenuating circumstances."
The female Judge said, sarcastically, "I'd certainly like to hear those extenuating circumstances." I did too so…… I listened as the lady told her story.

"Your Honor, I had a mammogram appointment, which I actually kept. I was met by this perky little clipboard carrier smiling from ear to ear and she tilted her head to one side and crooned, "Hi! I'm Belinda! All I need you to do is step into this room right here, strip to the waist, then slip on this gown. Everything clear?"

I'm thinking, "Belinda, try decaf. This ain't rocket science."
Belinda then skipped away to prepare the chamber of horrors.

With the right side finished, Belinda flipped me (literally) to the left and said, "Hmmmm. Can you stand on your tippy toes and lean in a tad so we can get everything?" Fine, I answered.
I was freezing, bruised, and out of air, so why not use the remaining circulation in my legs and neck to finish me off? My body was in a holding pattern that defied gravity (with my other breast wedged between those two 4 inch pieces of square glass) when I heard and felt a zap!

Complete darkness, the power was off!

Belinda said, "Uh-oh, maintenance is working, bet they hit a snag." Then she headed for the door.
"Excuse me! You're not leaving me in this vise alone are you?" I shouted.

Belinda kept going and said, "Oh, you fussy puppy...the door's wide open so you'll have the emergency hall lights. I'll be right back."

Before I could shout NOOOO! She disappeared. And that's exactly how Bubba and Earl, "maintenance men Extraordinaire" found me...half-naked with part of me dangling from the Jaws of Life and the other part smashed between glass!

After exchanging a polite Hi, how's it going type greeting, Bubba (or possibly Earl) asked, to my utter disbelief, if I knew the power was off.
Trying to disguise my hysteria, I replied with as much calmness as possible, "Uh, yes, I did but thanks for asking."
"OK, you take care now, ya heah" Bubba replied and waved good-bye as though I'd been standing in the line at the grocery store.

Two hours later, Belinda breezes in wearing a sheepish grin.
Making no attempt to suppress her amusement, she said, "Oh I am sooo sorry!
The power came back on and I totally forgot about you! And silly me, I went to lunch. Are we upset?"

And that, Your Honor, is exactly how her head ended up between the clamps...."
The judge could hardly contain her laughter as she said "Case Dismissed".

Oh my! Have I got some catching up to do. And just where is the IGW being held or is this an internet thing. I love so of those babies.

I am having a personality crisis with the green lantern. Green is not really my favorite color but don't really have the time to do the whole thing over.
