This conversation has made me realize there are sub-groups to glamping.... I'd like to think of myself as a "practical" glamper. No doubt I'm glamping, but everything has a purpose (in some cases at least two) so while everything you see on board is needed, it is cute and color coordinated  If I had the room I might be guilty of bringing along props, but I definitely don't have room for more than necessities.

Even my cute little vintage grill doubles as a fire safe cooking platform for my propane stove by day, and a shoe rack at night.

Any my girlie curtain with the pom poms keeps the light out of my eyes in the morning from the Fantastic Vent allowing me to sleep in a bit longer if I need to.

I am a member of a few glamping boards on facebook and I am definitely gathering things to decorate on a theme. My teardrop to be is named Mariposa (butterfly in Spanish) and she shall be a colorful, comfy space with some vintage touches. She is purple with blue accents (door and fenders), decorated with vintage curtains, vintage melamine dishes and a vintage chenille bedspread. I am calling it glamping lite, though I really like the practical glamping title also. Basically everything will have a purpose, I am just picking pretty options when possible. Oh and there will be some not so practical decorations just for fun, but nothing that takes up a lot of room or is annoying.

I like the picture of Stacey's car and trailer next to the big rigs.
I'll bet it gives the truckers a chuckle, too! :applause:

Love your color palette Nicolathecat!

And thanks FERNBLOSSUM for the compliment. :) I just love her to bits.

Sharon it is really funny at the truck stops. Right after I took that picture a guy in the parking lot asked me if it was a camper. I said it was. He just smiled, laughed, and shok his head. :FNP Then he said it was really neat.
