Embroidery Designs

Postby bjeppson » Wed Jul 02, 2014 10:37 am

Our daughter has an embroidery machine and wants to customize curtains etc. with teardrop designs for Woodrow. Does anyone know of a thread or a source for these files?

Many thanks

I plan to just draw off several different shapes and stitch around them apply them to some material . As far as a source I'm not familiar with any. There is someone on the Glamour camping site that has done some and some applique but I am not sure if it is a program for a machine, When I was young and did lots of sewing I did some simple stuff with my zig zag on my sewing machine that looked pretty good some thought it was a bought piece. I had rather do applique. it is easier for me now. Good luck in your quest!!

I don't know if I can help at all, but my wife has an embroidery machine. She has taken pictures with a digital camera of artwork and used them. I believe she can transfer the Jpeg pictures into the embroidery software from the sewing machine and it works. If you want a specific question answered I can see if she can help you.

Have you checked out the Etsy.com site, you can purchase some individual designs that have already been digitized.......
