Thanks to Tumbleweedhouses, I found this blog of a guy in Flint (just up the road from me).

Thanks for the link Mike - the mrs and I are thinking of a smaller house for when we retire - it'll sure make the five acres seem much bigger if it is not all taken up by the home!

I wondering too, what part a tiny house like this would play in our retirement plans.

Is is just a house to live in while we build on a foundation, or do we build something big enough on wheels for two people? Good thing I've got a few years to think about it...

Thanks Mike,

Read it front to back and it is a fun looking project ! Many ideas will help me in the 8x20 caboose build I hope to start this summer. I have a great advantage as most of the needed goodies came with my free trailer.

thanks for the link I especially liked his videos on the different projects and his walk through of his homet very inspirational
