Any one out there still working on colemans and collecting..whats new in Coleman world???? Slow.
Plans. there was supposed to be plans to be followed when I built this thing. Opps! AH, gee, tum,tee tum. I think I forgot about the plans 2 years ago. ------Tow vehicles, 1995 ford explore, 1994 ford ranger, 1993 ford F-150, 2009 4x9 Off road teardrop, on harbor freight greatly modified frame.

...things must be quiet everywhere. Last year, I found a Coleman Model No. 3 Hot Beam made in 1928, complete and in fairly good condition and very rare. Emailed a guy on a different Coleman site asking him if he ever got one from some posts years ago and never heard from him, offered it to somebody else and never heard from him either. It's time to downsize and get rid of things.

Yea.i hear ya even this forums dam quite any more...but I am still into colemans. I am cleaning up and a really bad 425 stove that the formor owner had a cooking fire on.. hope to get it repainted in the spring when the weather gets warm enough to paint...not sure on down sizing my c olemans yet pretty happy with my current collection..slow

The paint on these Coleman stoves seem to be a little fragile. Someday I plan to disassemble mine and powdercoat it. May change the color to a desert tan.Image

I been useing tractor paint on mine and sime hunter green in rust aluniom brands they seem to hold up good most the old paint on coleamans is actually not paint but..procluan and it chips...slow..
