Major thanks go to Dave A for this donation to the museum. It's a military medical/surgical stove. Dave may not say a lot, but he listens and he had heard me mention that I didn't have one of these yet a couple of camp outs ago.
I used a larger knob on one of the valves and it broke loose, reset the check valve in it that was loose, and some oil on the leather and it's a runner. The stainless top is nearly flawless, just missing the wind wings. I'll do some TLC clean up on it, but no serious restore efforts are required. Thanks mucho Dave...I love it and it's a major addition to the military wing of the museum! It'll be great to do those teardrop surgeries at campouts that are so often called for, or heat dishwater!
