Dad's Stoves

Postby mjg444 » Mon Feb 02, 2009 12:42 am

Here are my Dad's stoves. The first one is a Coleman 425 that he bought not to long after he bought his lantern in 1948.

This one he may have bought from a friend at a sale - it has a tag on it $5.00. It's a Bernzomatic propane cook stove.

I know the coleman would work if cleaned up since it worked when he put it away. Don't know if he ever used the other one.

I may clean the Coleman up and try it sometime. It looks like it doesn't need much.

I just have to ask...how much barbed wire do you need in Washington state.

I knew Bellevue was becoming a tough place to live but that seem kinda extreme.

You mean you didn't realize you need lots of barbed wire in the wilds of Bellevue!

It's actually at my dad's who lives up near Black Diamond and has 35 acres with cattle. He bought it at an auction years ago because it was a good deal and he says he may need it some day - of course that was probably 15 years ago, oh well..

The 425 looks like it will clean up easily. I like that model with the squared ends on the tank. Nice stove...Doug
