What's the difference?

What's the difference between a 200 and a 200A? I just can't seem to tell. Also was the 200/200A only red, or did it come in green also? Or any other color for that matter?

:?

I am not 100% sure. From what I can find, it looks like the 200 was made on 1950-1951 & the 200A was made 1952-1983. It looks like the main difference was the fount being brass on the 200 & steel on the 200A.

Model 200A was made in green towards the end of the production of this model in 1983.

I have a 200/ brass font dated 5/60. Mind you it is a Canadian model. I have also seen 200A's on Ebay , Christmas pattern , dated in the fifties. That's why I'm confused..... If it was just a production date run, why the differant models in diferrant era's????

I checked out that page, and saw my lantern. Well, almost my lantern. I guess it's a Canadian200/U.S.200A. One thing that's differant with mine is that the pump is held on with two tiny screws, and not the split ring.
