Well, that's one way to find some hidden rust! looks like it works great! You'll have that burner redone in no time! :thumbsup:

Thanks guys....once fired, it cooked off some crud on the inside of the manifold that ended up in the burner bases. Not all the older stoves fire up the same as the newer ones and it's a learning experience with them. It always seems that the first fire up is a a bit tricky, flooding is common. I must have felt confident in it's lighting though as I did it right on the bench next to the trailer...If one floods and flames up out of control, as this did...don't flip out...shut down the valves and unless there is tons of fuel dumped, you can blow out the flames. Let it ventilate and try again after all raw fuel or vapors are cleared out. Doug
