Postby doitright » Sat Mar 07, 2009 11:03 pm

I an not much of a lantern guy but today I found two black coleman 295. they are a Service Merchandise Edition. They are not very pretty but OK for free. On the lantern Special edition Powerhouse is written in big letters. I also found a 228 F with the big green top 1970. Sorry no photos my camera is dead and will not recharge.

congrats on your finds!....it's amazing the amount of stuff that is just laying around that people don't want or know what to do with it. Doug

Stuff

Yes that is a problem I have. I find too much stuff free. Now I have 4 lanterns , four two burner stoves, and a three burner stove all to rebuild and paint. I did have the flu this week and got my 502 working but still need to take off valve and clean the pick up tube I think it is not delivering enough fuel. The 502 takes 35 min. to heat a 8 cup pot of coffee and that is slow. At a slow rate like that it will be time to start lunch by the time I get my first cup of coffee.
