An Old "Candy" Box

Lanterns, stoves, etc... anything old!

By the way Im not sure but somewhere I saw an identical one but it had a round plate on it for a pan or pot or.. Am I wrong? Do these or should these have one?

Your stove is compete. There are some of these type stove that have that plate but yours should not have one. (look a the picture in the instuctions)

Ok Thats what we thought but were not sure. ;) :thumbsup: One thing I like it came with all necessary tools to take it apart. :thumbsup:

Any of the really bad brass parts can be cleaned up in vinegar. I polish them afterwards using some 0000 steel wool, and then follow up with a metal polish and rag. It appears that the fuel tank only needs a maintenance polish on it. Just the polish, no vinegar, no steel wool. Might be a "fun" thing for Suvi to do!!! I'm sure she is itching to be part of this vintage lantern/stove thing.... :lol: Doug
