What my neighbor gave me!!!

Postby dobyman » Thu May 21, 2009 1:03 pm

I was talking to my neighbor the yesterday and he seen me working on a lantern, so he said I've got an old Coleman stove in my attic you can have. He brought it over an hour later! 413D! Needs a little cleaning from sitting for who knows how many years, but it's in really nice shape. He made my day! Guess it does pay to be nice to people!

No, i got the stand with a 425D i picked up 2 weeks ago. I tore the 413D down today and cleaned it up a little more. Looks better yet. I need a few opinions..... should i repaint the gas tank, or leave it alone???

I'd leave the paint alone.

No kidding!!!! What a nice stove...The scorching doesn't really show all that much. What did your neighbor think of it after you cleaned and detailed it? Doug

Awesome stove! I have a 413D and a 413E. I got my 413D at a second hand store for $4 but it's not quite as nice as yours.
