Lanterns, stoves, etc... anything old!

5$ 425

Postby doug hodder » Wed Jul 08, 2009 9:20 pm

One of my employees found this for me the other day at a garage sale. 5$. A 48-53 425 stove. It has the wrong tank on it and someone decided that they would take it apart and paint it at one time. Burners are in the wrong position and plates in them aren't stacked correctly, paint over rust. I figure, this one will be my play stove. It has some bends to it all, but I'm going to paint it up using some of the colors on the Voyager and make it a tear specific stove. Perfect for the waffle iron.

I'm starting to get behind on my lantern/ stove rebuilds.... Doug

Doug, Maybe you could start a cottage "Vintage Camping Equipment" business.
Then hire a helper to keep up with the work load. :D Danny

A Helper???
Shoot, if Doug played his cards right, he could hire a full work force cheap and they could even walk to work. :R
