Marcia was thinking of me and picked up some things today...an unused Coleman teflon coated aluminum griddle ($10) and an Optimus 8R backpacker ($2).

Nice finds Dave....I've got a cast iron griddle, but doesn't have the "grease trap" like that one does, just a little rim around it. It usually all ends up in the stove!!!! Doug

Those Optimus 8R backpacker stoves are great.

I have one I bought in the late 60's and I still use it 4-5 times a year.

I don't take proper care of it and It never fails.
