I say it's a Griswold.
Good chance if you can take a peak under the grill, it'll have Griswold cast into it somewhere.
Kevin has the Griswold books, maybe he can take a look-see for you. :SG

It makes sense, BUT I have had this thing completely apart during the delousing/degreasing process... :shock:

I found casting numbers & patent numbers, BUT no makers mark/name?
