He's a spy.

Just wait...he's already brainwashing Kirk.

200a gang. Maybe that's all they can recognize in the wild.

Let Kirk run out of white gas and he'll see reason..hopefully.

Yeah...does he even have a trailer? Does he REALLY own any Coleman???

Maybe he's dealing in the underworld white gas trade..and has Kirk hooked.

The Coleman Mafia needs to have a little friendly talk with this guy. Just a nice little cup of tea, just to get a few things straight. Just so he knows who is in charge around here (and it sure as heck isn't me!)

I think that may just sum it up.

White Gas Pusher, too. Poor Kirk. Weak link in the familia. He caved. We need to bring him back into the fold. Gotta show him what side his bread (or Waffle Dog?) is buttered on. 200a Gang. Bah! He needs to have a little reminder of who's boss. Just a little gentle reminder.

And this new friend of his...Can O ???...he's a smart one. Could be an asset if he knew what side his waffle dog was buttered on. He may be persuaded..somehow. Bring 'em both back in. We can 'convince' them. A little white gas... a little flame...yeah, I think they will see reason. Just give 'em a chance. Just put a flame to their mantles, and they will be right back in the fold right away...

Now, who do we call in for the little 'visit'..the gentle little 'talk'....

Sounds to me everyone in this thread is full of gas.
Is it true? Is it necessary? Is it kind? Ask yourself these simple questions every time you are in doubt about any action.

I met Lee in '05 in Minden Ne....and while I'll give him a load of crap....he's still one of the best camping buddies one could have, great sense of humor and willing to take and give a joke. This cat has his fingers in more different pies than Marie Callendar! Gas pressure stuff is just his newest thing....I gotta keep ahead of him! Doug

Blame Lee for me being here. He has a scooter addiction. First time I met him was in Tahoe at one of our club rallies. I saw the teardrop and (rather loudly) asked a guy nearby (who is a friend of Lee) "who has the teardrop!!??"

I'm not sure if Lee was thinking he set up in the wrong spot or just thought I was crazy, but he was cool about it. Showed me a bit about the trailer. It started the wheels turning...I could bring a camper to the rallies...a small one, not my 18 1/2 footer...get a truck and the scooter goes anywhere with me...

I'm not sure what happened a few years later, except all of a sudden I was directed here, and started looking at teardrops, was disappointed and found the Grasshopper.

Now I'm fighting with a 220f that is more stubborn than me, and looking forward to outfoxing Kirk at the local flea market... 8)

Like I could do that. He's dipped into the white gas bigtime. I looked at his album. 200a gang my ear. He's got some nice looking lanterns. I just hope I don't get that carried away!! (But really, lanterns are useful. What if the power goes out? Candles aren't enough. How will food get cooked? It's always wise to have a back up plan...a few lanterns, a stove or two....or three...)

Yup...lanterns are always helpful. Recently I lost power in the house...major branch came down sitting on the power lines...my house was in a brown out stage for most of the day while I was at work. It cooked the electronics on the stove, a TV, Garage door opener, and clock...gotta replace that stuff.

The guy comes to fix it, in a pouring rain and windstorm...he says, "I didn't know if this was the house or not as it was all lit up"....I had a load of lanterns going and was cooking on a 425 in the kitchen.....ya never know....better safe than sorry. Doug

Don't know if I'll need the 30+ burners of cooking power I can harness however.
