Unless I find some more to play with. One of these and the lantern is for the safety man on the job I have been on for going on 4 years and comming to an end shortly.
This is the closest I could find to Kiewit yellow,He just bought a small cargo trailer to use as a small camper and figured this would be fitting for a good 4 years, Didnt take nay work pix of this batch they all look the same untill painted.

WOW, what an awesome job! They look great. That will be an fantastic gift, your friend should love them. What brand of paint did you use? The color looks good.

Great work. That color wears well on Coleman stuff. Very nice.

The paint is Krylon (Special purpose) Farm & Implement 1809 school bus yellow.

I like it, especially the perforated globe, it's got that industrial look! Makes me think about doing up a Cat lantern. Get a black hat, and Cat yellow tank with stickers. Doug

With the high temp paint could paint one of those globes.

If I'm not mistaken that was the inside mesh from a JCB 410 air filter I just cut the lenght to fit and painted it with VHT black.
