Looking For Original Waffle Dog Recipe

Postby Lazybones » Mon Aug 06, 2012 1:26 pm

I'm wondering if anyone here has the original recipe that came with the Waffle Dog maker?

If so; would you send me a copy or post it here.

Thanks
Lee

Thanks; This is great!

For some reason I thought it was a corn dog type recipe. Does anyone else have a different recipe?

I replaced the waffle/pancake mix with cornbread mix and that was really good too

I used Jiffy cornbread mix and used veg. oil instead of crisco, melted. I just followed the directions for waffles on the package otherwise. Waffles always need oil in the batter, unlike pancakes.

I also used Batter Blaster. I got lazy and did that yesterday instead of Kodiak Cakes. I still want to try that mix, and buckwheat sometime.

Here's an idea...sourdough waffle dogs. Without the dogs, but blueberries instead. Or maybe just plain. You can't go wrong with sourdough!!

I already make a mean blueberry waffle. I just wanted to get the original recipe, thinking it was a corn dog of sorts. I always make waffle/pancake batter from scratch so the original recipe doesn't do it for me. I'm stoked to see the original owners manual , just because It's history.
I'm just going to make my own, Because that's how I roll  .

I did waffle batter with cream cheese and homemade cherry jam. That was awesome
