Military 523MD Stove Cleanup - Finished

Finally finished the cleanup and repaint of my 523 MD military stove.

Purrs like kitten when those burners roar.

Nice clean up and paint. The one I got is real nice just some paint missing from the top. Not enough to give me hart burn.

Did you also get the case/pans and wind screen?

Thanks Randy, and yep it sure let's you know when it's burning! I have the case/pan,The attached wrench and spare parts tube (1 of the 2), but not the wind screen. Need to find one of those.

GREAT JOB Earl! That's really a transformation! Those babies really roar when they are running full tilt huh? You really did a good job on that! Kinda fun to have some off beat stuff, that many of the other "non Coleman" types don't have huh? Doug

PS...if you happen to find 2 wind screens....let me know...I need one as well.

That is a work of working art..

Im looking to get a 3 burner or one of these so I can do a full rack of ribs uncut when I go camping (I cheat by cooking/parboiling in a pan before smoking). People are really surprised that I can do fall off the bone ribs on a Coleman 2 burner though.

Slow, I do believe it was Scott (starleen) that turned one of these to a four mantle lantern, pretty neat project.
