Purging excessive Coleman pieces can be good...in so many ways. Like--
Sending it out into the wide world so a new or first time Coleman collector gets his/her first piece....
The commonplace Coleman becomes a parts donor for others--
Stoves and lanterns were meant to be used and properly maintained (Don't be an enabler & allow 'em to wither away)

I am only keeping my "special pieces" and my most important Coleman everyday pieces are the ice c :FNP hests.

And Kirk, I knew immediately that you were spoofing us on the first writing of this thread. :R You took to this forum & its members like a duck to water, and we are glad you are here, guy.

Cliff...here's an 8/79 200A.....you buy the shipping on it and it's yours. I did pay a bit for the lantern, but really don't need it...just let me know if you want it, if not, I'll pass it on to someone that wants one. Cliff gets first right of refusal on it....if he doesn't want it...same deal for anyone else in search of a 200A. It will need to be rebuilt or at least flushed and maybe a new leather on the pump, vent has some chips but it's not bent up, needs globe. Doug

Ha, I didn't read the rest of this thread, I saw Cliff was looking for one and I PM'd him about one I have and would be willing to part with. It's great that there are so many giving folks on this board. I have a 06/65 that I picked up for a song, and then naturally the very next day I found a 12/69 (which is my birthday) - so I had to pick that one up. Now I have two 200a's. I'm willing to sell the 65.

This brings up a good topic -
Do we have a thread where we can post Coleman specific items we'd like to sell or buy? I guess we could use the 'for sale' forum, but I was wondering if there was something Coleman specific where people could post if they were looking for a specific year/month or model, etc.

*shrug* - just wondering out loud.

UGH FeeBay..

I think a separate section under the For Sale area would be useful.. Maybe even a voluntary portion of each sale goes toward TTTnT to keep it going strong.. ..That reminds me I gotta get a check in the mail...LOL

Well, if a Mod wanted to and Mike approved, it would be easy to add a sub-forum in the vintage camping equipment forum. Just not sure how much traffic it would get.
