Call me crazy but I think these just might be Vintage Camping Equipment.

Here is one of my babies.

I am also building a new one just for camp. It will be ready for the dam. 8)

Ok, Crazy. I think you are right about that being both vintage and camping equipment. My uncle had one of those when I was young. Sure was fun to ride throught the trees on the farm. One of my coworkers bought one on Ebay a couple of years ago. The seller drained all the fluids, took it apart and shipped it to him via FedEx in two boxes. I can't remember what shipping cost, but it wasn't as much as you would expect.

Oth don't let my Crazy brother Kirk fool you, somewhere is a pic he had posted, not sure if its in his build thread or the Grizz's collecting thread and shows all of his Honda 70's, for some reason I think there was between 8-12 of them in the pic in different conditions! I like them Kirk but my problem is I look like a circus clown riding a lil kids bicycle !

Cliff
In God we trust, shoot the rest and he will sort out!

You are crazy!

But those bikes are Kool!

When I was a kid I would have given my right arm for one of those!

Later, when we moved from Socal to Ct there was an old dilapidated mini bike in the basement of the house we moved into. Dad cobbled it back together for me and I rode the wee out of it riding around the yard. My dollar a week allowance went 100% toward gas, wore a path around the yard.

Keep on keepin on. Your obsessions are certainly entertaining for the rest of us. Contagious, even.

Cool Scoots Kirk! I've been looking and at the recent antique fair in P-ville, a guy had a sign saying that he had one for sale. I am a bit big for the 70 (putting it lightly) but he also had a '66 90 trail. It's a running bike...thought about it, but he's not really local, then got a free trailer for this winters project instead, must be meant to happen. So with that and the stack of stoves I've got....I really don't need another project. I'd still love to have one though!

Just to put the rumors to rest I only have 8 Honda 70's. Most do not run, just parts bikes. Three are runners.

My goal is to get down to two. 8)
