I got the bug also!

Over the last couple of weeks Sheri and I took the tear to the Wahala area of SC for our anniversary and while their we went thru a couple of thrift stores and antique stores. On the first trip thru I found this AGM Kamplite LRL2 single mantle for $15. I changed out the pump leather piece with a new coleman 200a one and still couldn't get it too hold pressure so earlier today I figured it was the gas cap and took the one off the 200a I got from
doug and here is what happened:

it lit and after several turns stayed lit for a good bit, and since its body is red and the ventilator is black it matches the tears colors great! Then the next week we went back and I picked up this 220F from 2-81 for $5 and then had to do some cleaning of it and fresh gas and it worked!




its perfect for the stove contest as its alreadt 3 different colors: old blue on the bottom, faded tannish green on most of it and on the side you can see original coleman color. I will probably tearit down after next week and do some cleaning and soaking on it.

Wonder how many lanterns will be lit at the next ADK? Might need 2 campsites to display em all..lol

Slow I've got the big hat already and a nother 228 small 2 mantle, a 70's 426, Thermo's lantern I won from Kirk and a 200a I bought from Doug and a few profanes. If I have my way I may try and pick up a Aluminum stove model for $30 if the guy returns my email by friday!
