Load of new stuff

Postby TLC » Sun Nov 11, 2012 4:00 pm

Yesterday a friend of mine ask me if I'd be interested in some stuff she found in her garage. Said it was camping stuff. Of course I said yes. Here's what she dropped off.

A 220 lantern with clamshell case, (2) military pocket stoves, one never used, a 1922 Aladdin picnic jug with moonstone lid, and a one burner stove of unknown brand. If anyone knows what the red stove is, I'd like to know. All the stoves have canisters. She's going to bring me a Coleman 3 burner stove too. Everything Free. My lucky day!!

Good for you Tom! That little single burner military I'd bet is a Fiesta...maybe about 1980. Nice that you have the canister for it. You've got great friends. Doug

You have the Midas touch mister Tom. I have to beat the bushes and pay money for my finds. So far nobody has driven over to my house to deliver anything. Did you have to get out of your chair to answer the door or did she let herself in? Great stuff! Are you sharing with Russ?

You win Tom....All I have ever wanted in life was to be like you. Russ told me the same thing. Maybe the two of us just need to try harder.

On the contrary Mr. Butcher, I wish I just had half of your talent. Master woodworker, excellent camp cook, gracious host, and major celebrity at all Tearjerker functions. Plus, you know as well as I that you can't believe anything Russ says. I'm not worthy! I bow to the master!! :worship:

Wow Tom, that is just awesome. I have a 530 pocket stove with canister and the the little handle. But I did have to pay 6 bucks for it.
