I brought this home last night. One of the dad's in my son's Boy Scout Troop picked this up for me. It is a JC Higgins (sold by Sears) Inverted lantern.

That's cool! I've never seen one of those before. Does it hang as well? Oh, I see that it does! Very cool.

My Grandpop would always tell us to keep the lantern low when walking to keep from disturbing others.. This would have been perfect for that.. Great find! :thumbsup:

Those are cool because they keep the light down low where is doesn't blind everyone. Great score Jeremy.

That is a cool lantern. I hope to find one in the wild someday. I been looking out for them for a few years. Several months ago I saw a picture of someone holding one in his hand. Only then did I realize how small it is.
