Okay so working on a old project.

Postby ChristopherS » Mon Jan 28, 2013 12:10 pm

I got an old cabin stove along time ago and painted some parts on it while I looked for some burner parts. Lets just say that that aint happening. So I was wondering if anybody has had some luck with working Gas Barbecue side burners. Either that or I am going to use three bayou burners and run one hose with three regulators. Just wondering. Oh and here are some of the old pictures.

Christopher, I wish you were closer because I would love to talk you out of that stove! If it meant machining new parts I would keep that running on Coleman fuel for sure!

Well if worse comes to worse I would let somebody have it. But I would have to know that they were going to keep it not just toss it in the dumpster. I did look at getting some of the valve parts made but it would have cost me 200 for the three valves and it didn't make sense to me because I could get a old stove for 30 and use the burners. I would love to keep it original but I just don't have the money. I am looking at getting some bayou burners for it and just running the tank lines seperate for now just to use it this coming fall for canning season.
