Since dietz sent their mfg to china, these don't look bad. Darn it! Why can't we make ANYTHING here any more :(

Clowns scare me, especially the ones in government.

One important thing about hurricane lanterns though, if the glass starts smoking up, turn the wick down a little. You can't run the flame too high or you get black soot on the glass.

Ever try fullly loaded kerosene, not the smokeless stuff? Supposedly it does a great job of getting rid of 'skeeters. Question is, does it stink the place up real bad? That's worth ruining a $4 lantern for in guess...

The citronella torch fuel doesn't stink, but you do smell the citronella. I'd say it's like a blend of citrus and flowers. I don't think it's unpleasant
