When boondocking, I usually have 4 or 5 lanterns hanging around the campsite. They really liven up the night, almost as much as my idiot friends do.

If I'm in a campground, neighbors usually aren't too far away. So I might limit myself to displaying one or two, so as to not draw attention from park rangers lurking in the night.

Here's my trunk all packed for one of the boondocking trips... I just couldnt decide

It depends where we are going and who we are camping with. I guess I am kinda weird, but I have my lanterns labled with info of when and where they got used. With 20 working (I test before we go) lanterns I like to take two different every time we go. Hey I gotta share the love among them. I save the really old and chrome ones for the vintage trailer rallies. When boondocking I like the 228's. They seem to throw off a lot of light and heat besides. I LOVE the look of the big hats.! Other than that you can't beat the classy look of my 202, 242, and the classic 200's for when we have electric. And don't forget the 275. That's my husbands favorite and the most dependable. As far as stoves go, that depends on the weather and who we go with. If we go with the Felbobs, Rick and I like to impress each other with our outdoor cooking skills. I usually take my 3 burner (can't for the life of me remember the model #). The Coleman oven fits and works the best on that stove. The 425 is always packed in the Zollinger. We use the Coleman coffee maker on that stove. Hey what can I say we are two old blind people that like to see and eat good when we go camping. :R

At this point all of our lights are battery powered LED with rechargeable batteries. A MAHA charger powered by the solar panel keep the charged. I still have the 1930's Coleman single mantel I inherited from my parents and a modern dual fuel we used canoe camping.

A Northstar , a 288, or a 200A, I like the dimming feature, as wife doth complains too much about the "little suns", for cooking sometimes I carry a Coleman 400, but most of the time I use the four burner "profane" stove or the oven in the teardrop.

I like to take 3-5 lanterns with me. Usually at least 1 242 or a 200A and some double mantles. I have a 228F that I have changed the look of a bit and it is one of my best lighter uppers. It usually goes. Sometimes I will throw in a 252, I have 2 beat up boxes for them so they are easy to pack. A 425 stove lives in the trailer and I often take a 502 or a 500 also. Have yet to take the 530 GI pocket stove. I also have a folding Coleman captain's chair I really like. Aluminum frame it is really light. Last year I also got a 2 cup stainless steel Coleman mug that lives in the trailer.

I rotate my lantern, usually take two along. The last time I took 2 -288's. They have adjustable flame. I carry my trusty 2 burner 413 and sometimes at a larger gathering I will bring a 502 if I need another burner.

Now that lazybones got out '36 242 running, that one will always go. Single burner from Randy p. for fast heating and for my weed sprayer water heater. but it has a leak and needs some work. Two burner profane is my cooking workhorse. Double mantle late model when we need more than lantern.

ACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It leaks?

I did not know that, honest. I have used it a bit the past few years.

Randy

edit, I have often used it to heat my branding iron to put my mark on my wood projects.

I've got several stoves and lanterns that are painted to match certain trailers. When I take that trailer out, they usually go. I also will drag a couple of other items just for grins so that they all get a chance to get out and get some exercise. Most of the really old rare stuff that I've restored, doesn't get taken along as a user, but will go as an operating stove that I can operate for entertainment purposes and then it's only to a true gathering type situation. My no letter 426 that I restored is my main go to stove now. At an official Coleman campout...lots of it makes the trip.

For lanterns...always my 242B with the mica globe, usually a big hat or a military and a 220 or a 200A. If any one of them gives me an issue... I always have a back up. Doug

Just getting ready for camping and was just curios what you all would take with you.
I'm a white gas kinda guy so everything works off that.

200, 236, 421 Stove and a 502 stove.
That's the stuff currently in my trailer.
