Oh yeah,

I had this one from when I got my first 'big hat' a year ago:



Then there was this 220e, I picked up off 'the bay.



Since then, I've acquired a few more lanterns (two little red ones, and a few green ones). I'll have to post them too, eventually.

Oh yeah, then there is the pile of stoves. What the heck?! I should start a 'model 1' stove club. Except, I think only Doug and I would be allowed in.

Man you beat me to it.

My other computer with my paint programs and cad program, got shorted out by lighten. So I just used Gimp2 program to do this.



Wonder what it cost to have a few shirts printed up. Guess not all people look good in green.
Ha haha

Ps I should take mine and the above picture to the Coleman Museum here in Wichita and see if they like the idea. Even a Red 200A on a red shirt.

A couple of years ago I got some shirts silk screened. I think I got thirty of em and they were about $10 each. They were good quality Haynes shirts and have held up well.

Probably a bit more now but definitely doable.

Actually patches would be easier..

I think CampmasterK had that Idea originally..Would be fun tooling around campgrounds and rallies brandishing leather vests festooned with coleman and camping patches..

i think you would need to get Patch Approval from the Hell's Angels and I have once worked out with Sonny Barger at 24 hour nautilus in San Leandro.

I would be concerned that if we went the Patch way, that we mite get a beat down by a 1% club like the Laughing Devils!!

I like the T shirt Idea....the size thing is always a fun thing getting the order in and the correct sizes...but Ireally like the idea of the Green Lantern themed T-shirts!!

I can see it now.. Bullwhip lighting contests...Wandering Coleman brethren waving their lanterns..People setting up corn stills fired by Coleman stoves.. We could display a 99% patch just to let the other crews know we arent trying to convert the minority..LMAO

Or we could go the Sash route like merit badge patches..

But T shirts do make the most sense..

I don't know. I'm kind of a leather and tights guy myself. Not really. But I did just pick up a well used 288 today. I'll post up pics once I get a chance to go through it. (and I thought my red head would be my only lantern).

I would have suggested pins too but I think in some/most cases the pins would be more than the lantern owners initial investment..

I bought this T-shirt waiting for the motivation to have a T-shirt designed.

I done custom t-shirts for a project team here at work and it was more like work to much in getting all the sizes and then getting them out to the masses in the company mail.

I am not opposed to the idea.
