The Turd had broken glass.

I had never really seen the guts of a 275 before.





Cut off brass, installed bushing with form a gasket and test fit 200 guts.

Painting had challenges. Weather, hi tech sprayer malfunction. Still it came out pretty good.







The paint is single stage auto paint I had made to match Coleman Red. I have a machine that will put it in spray cans.

I use a roll of tape for a platform when painting.

What I did on the bushing is I cleaned everything then I just screwed in the 275 guts minus the pickup tube. Then I hacksawed it off at the base. That way I did not have to do two cuts. I worked great. Then I filed it smooth, tapped it, then paint.

I am not patient so a roll of tape would have stuck in my wet paint but that is a good idea.

I dont get to play Coleman as often as I would like. Pretty fun!

Day 1- I paint the bottom and let it dry.
Day 2- I paint the top.
Day 3- I cure it in the oven.
While waiting for all this to happen I have other projects I'm working on.
Don't get the paint too thick around the pump tube. You'll chip the paint putting on the metal cap.
I primer it once than mask off just enough for the cap.

Well here she is. Day one paint, put on sticker, finish.

Kirk...take a dowel and taper an end down. Thread it in on the tank bung, it acts like a handle, you can spray the entire tank in one shot, top, bottom, sides and get the entire thing done easily. Then just clamp it in a vice or somewhere to let it cure. Doug
