Darn it, now you've got me doing it!

Lanterns, stoves, etc... anything old!

Darn it, now you've got me doing it!

Postby Greg M » Sat Feb 22, 2014 4:27 pm

There I was, minding my own business, checking out the thrift stores, when I catch a glimpse of silver out of the corner of my eye. The next bit is a blur, all I can remember is going back out to the car thinking, boy this thing is HEAVY! Somehow, in my disassociated state, I bought a JC Higgens camp stove. I blame you people for this! Your post-hypnotic suggestions have completely robbed me of my willpower, and now I am doomed.
But, enough about me, all you want is the pictures.

So, where do I start learning the great mysteries of white gas, and what have I gotten myself into?

I haven't fired it up yet, the pump seems to be varnished up. I've got it soaking in lacquer thinner, so I'll try later. The paint is obviously a re-spray, but how could I resist for ten bucks?

its crazy greg I was only going to have a few selcet unique colemans. yea, right!

I should really quite buying more stoves and lanterns. but,............................

Now I got to have a 3 burner coleman stove and its way out of sight on ebay due to the ice storms back east and every one and his brother wants a coleman stove now to surive only a inch of snow on the ground!!!!!!!!!

its wacko!!!!!!!!! they even got the coleman fuel up to 12 bucks in wally world and its getting to be a pricy very heavy on competion hobby!!!!!!!!!

right now I am not buying any more coleman fuel till summer and the price hopefully goes down on it.

and its not ending.

I am now wanting a single burner 502. and I already got a single burner 500A....................so why do I need more colemans? I am mean its nuts!!!!!!!!!

I also want a low top big hat 220 something lantern to fill up space in a yellow coleman lantern case sense my high top big hat 220 wont fit!

and the list goes on. I got 3 lanterns to even touch and work on. I got one what do you call them a single burner millitary stove.

and a large coleman lamp or 4 mantle chandaller to see if it will even light up! and I am still trying to buy more colemans!

whats wrong with me folks?

Then a 200A..... and a Bighat 220...Maybe a Turd since the brown would complement the stoves color..
