Nope....a 425 has an 8.5 center on the tabs, 426 has a 9" and the 413 has a 12". Doug

It appears to me that latter 426s used the same tank as the 413s. Early 426s have their own tanks. I have 2 426Bs and their tanks are different. Also have 2 426Ds and their tanks look to be the same as 413s of the same time period. Though I have yet to try them. Some day I may.

randy do you have any gas tanks or part stoves for a 426B floating around any thing that would hold gas that would fit this?

In the mean time, you could just go with the propane adapter and be using it anyway. But get the hose for the bulk tank too. It's getting too cold in the mountains to run off the 1lb cylinders.

I don't know if the generator will reach the gas elbow, but if you have the 425 tank, and the 426 stove, you could try to position the tank in the place where the generator would fit, outline the tab locations with a fine sharpie and cut carefully with a dremel tool, not a dramatic change in design, but it may make your stove usable.

I doubt if the 425 generator can pass enough gas.

To run more than the center burner, even if can reach it.

I guess he could rig a 426 valve assembly on the 425 tank.... may mean reduced burn time, instead of two hours, maybe one and a quarter?

Probably most anything valve and generator from a 413 would work, heck the 426D and E uses the same tank and all as the 413

It's not that tough to just find another stove, they're all over.
