That shuttlecraft belongs to the USS Corsair. They're a Region III chapter. Hurricane Irene hit them pretty hard.

Never a trekkie???? OMG

I have to admit, I had toyed with several different shuttlecraft designs, I still have pics of the various shuttlecrafts on my computer. 8)

Never a Trekkie? Then you must be assimilated! Resistance is futile.

Hi bobhenry et.al.,

I'm not a Trekkie or Star Wars enthusiast per se, but one of those 'trajics'
[as Aussie slang calls enthusiasts] who often envision different shapes of
objects and such as possible starting points for a TD-TT-TTT design.

In that vein, I saved these pics off of AU ebay last summer [06-24-10].
Someone over there built one with a detachable tongue. Here goes:

Phew! Posting all them was work! Any way to do them other than
one by one?

These show it's very doable. I like the walk-thru aspect of it with
the front and rear doors.

Cheers,
Norm/mezmo

Norm :

multiple posting from your album is much easier if you chose the 1st picture and post it multiple times them arrow up and edit the numbers.

your pictures were 82902 thru 82912 so if you simply posted one ten times and edited the numbers you would have them all posted in one effort.

I copy down the numbers on a scrap of paper in the order I want them in, to better tell the story . After all pictures are entered you can edit any captions under each pic.

Wow....the drive through the external links in this story were worth the hour it took :). This is a great idea...I love the idea of a pontoon boat dual use!! I want a watercraft....I wish I had the time and necessary welding skills...

I hope I'm not too late to get in on this, lol. With a few modifications mikeschn 's Rockhopper becomes a Star Trek Galileo.
