Now I Still Need A Name
please help

I think you should call it ABE

It stands for Amish Buggy Extrapolated.

Even though you live in Canada, you may have heard of our USA Civil War president Abraham (Abe) Lincoln. If you look at a picture of him, he often looked like an Amish man in a black suit; and, during his life, buggies were the mode of travel. So, if you wanted to have fun with that, you might instead call your buggy a … (are you ready for it?)….:

A LINCOLN CONTINENTAL!

Hahaha cute name but not quet what I had in mind Motorcyle wheels would be good to but I need to be able to lace in a hub dynamo it never really occured to me to use motorcycle wheels I'll have to look into that is it possible to take the hub for a bike and match it up to a motorcycle rim and tire or do they make dynamos for motorcyle rims or I could just scrap the dynamo al together and go with just the other rims Image that would be sweet I'll do some looking on Ebay for rims and see what I come up with now my mind is racing through the ideas until latter

I'm building a dog cart that looks like a buggy that can be used for our local parades and what not so I'm trying to keep it on the cheaper side but still be functional who knows if it works out really good I could use for going to the grocery store but to straiten up all the confusion this will be a regular buggy that I don't expect to go over 15m/h as it'll be pulled by animals not vehicles
Sorry about the confusion
that is why I'm thinking of building a trailer for this so I can give rides to some of the children when we do our pioneer days

 Hmmm...I, too, thought you were building a camper...guess not!

Okay, here are a few to ponder and maybe chuckle over:

The Boogie Buggy
AABs (Ageless Amish Buggy)
The God Speed or Godspeed
(The Gods peed?) (Be careful how you say that one!)
Methane-Motor Magnet (Assuming it will be pulled by a horse or other animal) ...or M&M
Devil Chaser
Another Time
Timeless Wonder
Black Bart
Black Bertha
Black Beauty
The Sleepy Hollow Hauler

 Okay, I'm out of ideas, silly or otherwise, for now....

but I'm dealing with larger dogs so the can pull more weight and no be uncomfortable hope this helps to clear up any confusion that I may have caused
I still want to build a trailer but I'd like to do a test project first to build my confidence up a bit more

An up date

ok this is kinda weird I'm hijacking my own post but its mine so i can hahahaha any ways well on my search for the dimensions for this buggy it's seems like a never ending task I get one step closer and get all my hopes up and then end up taking two steps back so anyways I found this blog http://amishstorys1.blogspot.com/ and the person that runs it is one of those true to their words type of guys so I thought I'd give him a harmless little plug they have some interesting bits of information and the food that they talk about sounds amazing I tried one of the recipes tonight and it was so good any ways back to the creator of this blog he goes into Amish country lots and just after a few exchanged emails this guy is driving around with a tape measure in his car so he can take the dimensions and photos for me and once I have all of that I can then start my build I have a few ideas in mind that i would like to try I need to find that wacky plywood so I can do a couple of tight bends ....now a quick question how's that plywood look is like regular stuff or is it different as I'd like to use tung oil on it for the interior and maybe some nice cedar so I can do a couple of test pieces and see how it looks before I do it on my trailer ok I think my hijack is now over so back to me looking for names so if you have any creative names it would be muchly appreciated thanks again

Hello,
I have built 2 dog carts to be pulled by my sister's Rotties. One is a wooden sulky for a passenger and the other is a milk crate with an axle.
They both have 16" cart wheels from Northern Tool($20), very light and the air in the tire provides a little give as opposed to flatproof or foam-filled tires. Used Conduit for the shafts that the harness hooks to.
She uses them fairly often and the dogs love it.
