FYI the Lighthouse 1950s DD House Trailer is 11ft 6in high,
so you can work with the dimensions to have it street legal
and still have upper room standing height.

Hi droid,

Here are some links on the Lighthouse DuPlex Double Decker [aka DD].

My earlier post on it from the Bob Henry's Caboose build thread:
http://tnttt.com/viewtopic.php?p=871972#p871972

Lots of pics of a Lighthouse that needs restoration:
http://www.cannedhamtrailers.com/lighthouse.htm

Some pics of the same one almost restored:
http://dinetsosi.repairingyesterdaystra ... SCXfqU4uSq

Googled info on BC max vehicle height:
B.C. Vehicle height max:4.15 meter = 13.615 485 564 feet [about what US max height is.]:
http://www.bclaws.ca/EPLibraries/bclaws ... ection7.05

If you are serious about trying something like this, I have a few other links to other DDs
that may be helpful. Also, I could do another Paint drawing [it might take a few days to be able
to do it] of a smaller version of the 'Redux' drawing of it I did earlier. As it was originally built
it was @8ft x 28ft long [body I believe]. It could be shrunk to @ 22-20 ft long body easily I think.

Just let me know.

Cheers,
Norm/mezmo

I have talked to members of D.O.T and they had informed me that 13 feet 6 inches is the max I'm allowed to go, Hey Norm thanks for the links, I'll try and look at them as quick as I can

I don't eat Drive-Thru.....hahahahahaha kinda one of the reasons for a tiny house instead of eating some piece of junk I'd rather be chilling at a lake somewhere and catch my dinner....That reminds me Does anyone know of a good brand of Vacuum Sealer as I'd like to seal up some meals as well as leftovers...waste not want not

Rob I'm almost if not 100 percent sure that you started a thread about this at one time :R

If he hasn't, he should. It'll get lost in this build thread.

I'd like to go with one that is more of an industrial model that runs off of 110 volts if possible...stainless steel would be an added bonus, I'm thinking it would be a very useful tool for a traveling lifestyle
