Chummy Teardrop Trailer owned by Dean Tennis of San Diego California, who write: "I designed and built ( in three months) this trailer in 1992 in preparation for a proposed trip to York, Pa.the following year. First photo show s "Chummy" with my '31 Roadster when new. Photo two, eight years later. The '30 Briggs town sedan towed the trailer to a teardrop campout.. The white box is a refrigerator. The rear panel swings up to

"It weighs in at a mere 350#", complete with a "chuck wagon" style kitchen area.
Now, he's making the plans available to you. Dean Tennis, 645 J street, Chula Vista, CA 91910 $29.00, includes S/H E-Mail: [email protected]

I understand the origanal is no more but Chummy #2 is alive and well.

Ron,

The Chummy II is a really interesting trailer. The reason Chummy I is gone is that he got ran over by a jacked up pickup. Totaled the trailer and his Model A, not to mention injuring him seriously.

He had his boattail Chevy with the trailer at Spamboree. A very cool setup.
