i finished all my welding on one side and fliped it onto the other edge so i still have access to both sides,i did a qoute the otherday for a guy who owns a fabrication shop so i might do a contra and get him to do some of my lower section work.

Those may be expensive in American terms, but the quality is obviously better...ours are from China anyway.

Yea they are a nice bit of gear.
I looked and looked trying to find a cheaper option but the reality was I wasn't going to save much and I'd end up with rubbish.
Plus they are used on 28 foot vans here so should outlast me on mine

well progress was slow for a while but i recon ive made up for it in the last couple of days, thanks for looking.... ps brian the benchtop isnt to high :)
I'm covering the inside shelves with charcoal marine carpet but there's a bit of additional work to do first.
I've decided to go with open shelves on each side and just chuck a bag of clothes on the shelf and shoes and stuff can go up top.
I'm putting a door over the center section that will open upwards on gas struts when the latch is released with a tv mounted on the front of it

Hi Dale, looking good!
What is the timber across the galley shelves? Looks really nice.
You are going to have plenty of storage in those inside shelves. One thing to remember with the open shelves in there is that when you are on the road everything wants to move forward. Is that your bench height at floor height?

First question. It's spotted gum, I love the stuff its going on the inside horizontal too to stop stuff sliding off ;)
I decided against cupboards inside as for me I recon I'd find them annoying so I'm carpeting them in charcoal marine carpet with spotted gum highlights.
The center part of the inside shelves will have a door on it also covered in carpet that opens upward on gas struts when a latch is released.
The main reason for this is so I can mount a tv bracket to it.
I like big tvs and didn't want to waste space so this is an ideal solution, I get my 32" tv and I get more storage than if I had a small one.
And Yea the floor hight where you have your draws will be my bench, it's 600 deep witch means the kettle and stuff can stay at the back.
My kitchen will be in 1500 long draws that pull out underneath al set up and ready to roll
