Wieghed the trailer today

Postby Megadrop » Wed Nov 16, 2011 9:05 pm

The trailer weighed in at 2740 lbs. With supplies, bedding and a propane tank. Not to heavy but not a light weight ether. My goal weight was 2500 lbs so it ended up close. The truck scale gave me individual axle weights.
I am using a weight distribution hitch.

They ended up like this.

-------------------Car only----------Car and trailer
Front axel.--------2360.------------ 2360
Rear axle.-------- 2080.-------------2300
Trailer axle.-----------0.-------------2520

With the trailer and the weight distribution hitch the car now has a perfect 50/50 weight distribution. That should be good for auto cross .
