I was thinking the same thing. As beautiful as the outside looked, I can't imagine the pucker factor! :? I don't think I would have had the courage to make those cuts.

I've been away from the forum for a while. Very glad to see someone on here doing a build for the CLC Teardrop.

I'm working on a design in Sketchup to build a teardrop in the stitch & glue method. Mine will be slightly bigger, not not nearly as pretty.. :)

What thickness is the plywood for the shell? Also, are the inner panels, such as the galley deck and bulkhead the same thickness?

Thanks for sharing the process with us, you're doing beautiful work on this.
