RE: My Away Build Debut

Postby mezmo » Mon Aug 08, 2011 6:08 pm

Hi Sharon,

Congratulations on the debut of the Away Build!

You're going to have lines forming to view it once you take it
camping. Even though, 'still in progress', this milestone has to be
giving you a great sense of accomplishment.

That exterior graphic idea myoung/Mike had that'd match your
floor appliques looks worth pursuing once you get to that point.

Cheers,
Norm/mezmo

Steve_Cox, Bdosborn, Campmasterk, and Mezmo:
Thanks for your kind words.

MyYoung and Mezmo:

Feel free to borrow the grey Crape Myrtle shadow for your trailers. (I'll see it and chuckle!)

I went with the blue night-time mountain, moon, & tree shadow decals because my tow vehicle is about that color blue and, since the ceiling inside the trailer is a sky blue, everything still blends. Once I start towing and camping with MyAway, I'll probably get plenty of brown dirt on it that will match the floor.

Wow, what an awesome accomplishment. Your trailer looks great and you will enjoy it all the more because of the sense of pride in the fact that you built it yourself.

You give new meaning to "you build like a girl."

Awsome. I was just thinking about asking how you were coming along. I guess you were just working underground. Can't wait to see the interior shots.
