Oh...

And the skies did open, and Dog said, let there be plywood, and Home Depot bowed before Dog, and provided it.

And, much sawdust was produced, and the TD gaineth a floor.

And so came to a close, another day of the build.

Amen.

My camera isn't as nice as yours, but us poor vets do the best we can too. (BTW, I didn't know it was a contest )

BTW, I was at Camera Stop last week and stopped by your office. You were out on one of your two hour steak and martini lunches. I told the girl at the desk to tell you "Caseydog" came by -- she looked at me funny. Can't imagine why.

Hmmmm, she never mentioned it  I wish I could have steak and martini lunches but it would make the afternoons a little too interesting to say the least. Next time stop by before or after lunch.

An Dog labored over his creation, until quite tired. So Dog made some photos, and rested.

On Day two, Dog created a floor -- the foundation of his creation.

Image

And upon his floor, Dog saith, let there be walls. And there were walls.

Image

And working mysteriously, as is the nature of Dog, he bought some wheels, and did painteth them black, even though he had yet to needeth any wheels. Dog does all things in his own way.

Image

And then saith Dog, "I needeth a beer."

Okay, I got most of the roof ribs in, and my countertop for the galley -- it will be a "pass'thru" galley counter. The area from the counter to the roof will be open, with a canvas panel that velcros in to close it off. On cold mornings, I can take down the panel. roll it up, and make some coffee inside. Or, if it rains all day, I can even cook inside, if I have to.

Sorry about the plain talk. Dog make the rules on this thread, and Dog is too tired to think that much.

I know, I know -- but it's been rainiing and storming -- I can't leave the garage door open to work when the rain is blowing horizontally.

I'll try to pick up the pace when the weather clears up.

I doubt it. The first 80 percent of these projects goes fast and easy. It's the last 20 percent that takes forever.
