Greetings from a prospective UK builder! Just read your build journal "cover to cover" - what a great read. If I ever persuade Mrs Mallymal that we're going to build one of these, I may well be picking your brains! Glad the prang didn't do too much damage - must have been damn scary though.

Hi Mallymal, That's very nice of you to say so.

Yes, the weld failure was an unforgettable moment. Since I had it 100% rewelded, it's been golden.

Feel free to pick what brains I have.

You might also want to checkout the truly craftsman builds of another British teadropper...Dave (aka Jackdaw), both here and on tcgb.org
